Nordic Solar announces that Tiste Solar Park in northern Germany began producing electricity on 4 December 2025.

With all technical tests successfully completed, the solar park is now fully operational and delivering electricity to the grid. The project strengthens Nordic Solar operational portfolio in Germany and supports the continued roll-out of renewable energy across Europe.

The construction began in October 2024 and is developed and constructed through Nordic Solar’s own in-house EPC capabilities. With a production capacity of 44.3 MWp and 64,582 solar modules installed, the facility is expected to generate enough electricity to cover the average annual consumption of approximately 10,500 European households.

“Tiste Solar Park is an important step forward for Nordic Solar in Germany. Projects like this play a meaningful role in strengthening Europe’s renewable energy capacity, and we are pleased to contribute with long-term investments that deliver reliable power to households across the region. With an EEG feed-in tariff secured, the project stands on a solid foundation”. says Tim Gadatsch, Nordic Solar.
